Federal election year – Election website of the FSO

The federal elections on 20 October will shape the political landscape of the next legislative period. The Federal Statistical Office will publish live provisional voting results for the National Council and Council of States, at both nationwide and cantonal level. Results for Switzerland as a whole will only be available once all data have been received from the cantons. The distribution of seats, the parties’ percentage share and the participation rate will be updated continuously from midday onwards. The FSO will also be publishing its data files on the Confederation’s OGD platform.

Overall results

Select a canton in the left-hand column or on the map. Through a colour code, the map shows whether the votes for the National Council or the Council of States have already been counted. The overall results are available once votes have been counted for all cantons.
